Privacy Policy

What we collect, and why
Free scan:when you request a website scan, we collect the URL you submit and your email address, so we can run the scan and send you the report. Scans analyze the public structure of the page; we do not collect content from your site’s visitors.
Booking a call: name, restaurant, email, phone, and scheduling preferences you submit — used only to respond to you.
Customer sites we host:when a restaurant runs its website on Remi, guest data submitted through that site (reservations, waitlist entries, contact messages, marketing opt-ins) is collected on behalf of that restaurant and belongs to it. We process it to operate the site’s features and never sell it or use it to market to guests ourselves. Guests can unsubscribe from a restaurant’s emails — or from all Remi-hosted email — via the link in every message.
Online ordering:when a diner places an order on a restaurant’s site, we collect their name, email, phone, and order details (items, pickup or delivery info) to fulfill the order and send confirmations. Card and payment details are entered directly into the restaurant’s connected point-of-sale’s hosted payment form (Square) and never touch Remi’s servers — we never collect, see, or store card numbers.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell personal information. We don’t run third-party advertising trackers on Remi-hosted restaurant sites. We use minimal, first-party analytics to operate the service.
Service providers
We rely on infrastructure providers to run the service: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and storage), Cloudflare (image storage and delivery), Resend (email delivery), and Twilio (SMS, where enabled). For restaurants with online ordering enabled, orders and payments are processed by the point-of-sale they connect — Square — under Square’s own privacy policy for the card and payment data it handles. Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Retention, export, deletion
We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service. You can request a copy of your data or its deletion at any time via the contact below; restaurant guests should direct requests about a specific restaurant’s records to that restaurant, and we will assist it in fulfilling them within 30 days.
