Terms of Service

Effective July 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of Remi (“we,” “us”), a service that designs, builds, hosts, and maintains websites for small businesses. By subscribing, you agree to them.

The service

Remi provides: a website built on our accessible template system using content you provide or approve; hosting on our infrastructure; ongoing maintenance and updates; and accessibility monitoring of the pages we host. Your subscription covers all of these for one business location unless we agree otherwise.

Accessibility — what we promise and what we don’t

Every Remi site is built and tested to WCAG 2.2 AA and we monitor it on an ongoing basis. We maintain a working accessibility-feedback contact for your site and respond to reports we receive. This is a documented, ongoing, good-faith accessibility effort — it is not a certification, a guarantee of legal compliance, or legal advice, and no service can guarantee you will never receive an accessibility complaint or claim. We recommend you consult your own counsel about your legal obligations.

Your content and your data

You retain ownership of your content (menus, photos, text, your guest list, your domain). You can request a full export of your data at any time, and we will provide it in a portable format within 30 days. You are responsible for having the rights to content you supply and for its accuracy.

Guest data

Reservation and guest data collected through your site belongs to your business. We process it only to operate your site’s features (reservations, messages you send, guest records), never sell it, and never market to your guests except at your direction through the product’s tools.

Online ordering

If you connect a point-of-sale (Square), Remi adds an online ordering page to your site. Diners order and pay by card directly there. Card payments are processed entirely by your connected point-of-sale provider — card details are entered into their hosted payment form and never pass through Remi’s servers. Remi is not a payment processor and does not hold or transmit card data.

Orders, refunds, and cancellations are managed through your point-of-sale’s own dashboard — Remi displays order status, but changes happen at the register. An Online Ordering Fee may apply on qualifying orders and is disclosed to the diner at checkout before they pay. You are responsible for keeping your point-of-sale’s menu, pricing, and item availability accurate; the online ordering page mirrors what your point-of-sale reports.

Billing and cancellation

The service is billed monthly at the price you signed up at, plus any applicable sales tax. No setup fee. You may cancel at any time effective at the end of the current billing period; on cancellation we will provide your data export and cooperate in repointing your domain.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or infringing. We may suspend a site that is being used unlawfully or that threatens the security of the platform, and will tell you why.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email to the address on your account at least 30 days before they take effect.
