Most restaurant website "platforms" are landlords. You pay $200-400 a month, they keep your guest list, and the day you stop paying everything goes dark.
We built Remi because that's a bad deal.
What's broken
Three things, mostly:
- Pricing is theater. $149/mo for a website. $99/mo extra for online ordering. $79/mo for a CRM. Then a $400 setup fee.
- Data is hostage. Your guest emails, your menu, your photos — all on their servers, exportable only when they let you.
- ADA risk is yours. When the demand letter shows up, the platform sends you a knowledge base article.
What Remi does instead
One price ($69/mo) for the website, menu editor, gallery, CRM, and custom domain. ADA compliance is the default — every theme passes WCAG 2.2 AA. You own your data. You can export everything. You can leave.
Five themes, one platform
Modern, classic, rustic, playful, bright. Each is designed for a different kind of restaurant — the same way Chez Laurent's classic theme and Benny's playful theme shouldn't share a font, much less a layout.
That's it. That's the post.
