Rebuild stories
What a restaurant website looks like before — and after — a rebuild.
These are demo rebuilds: five fictional restaurants we built to show the difference in product terms. Each story lists the failures a typical old site for that kind of restaurant ships with — the same findings our scanner reports every day — then shows the rebuilt site, live, with the menu, booking, and ordering flows intact. Every rebuild is accessible to WCAG 2.2 AA by default, and the restaurant owns everything on it.

How to read these stories
The “before” sections are composites, not real restaurants — they’re the most common findings from scans of real restaurant sites, rated the way our scanner rates them: Critical findings lock guests out entirely, Serious ones block or mislead many, and Moderate ones degrade the experience for some.
The “after” sections are real. Every rebuild linked here is a live demo site running on Remi — click through, open the menu, start a booking, place a test order. Try it with a keyboard. Try it with a screen reader. That’s the point of publishing them: the difference isn’t a claim, it’s a URL.
