Look for the blue button in the corner of any Remi site — including this one. That's the accessibility toolbar, and it's on every site we build.

What it does

Guests can personalize how a site looks and reads:

  • Dark mode and high contrast for low vision and light sensitivity
  • Bigger text and more spacing for easier reading
  • A more legible font and calmer colors for guests who find busy pages hard to parse

Settings stick between visits, on every page of the site.

What it isn't

It isn't a fix, and the site doesn't need it. Every Remi site meets WCAG 2.2 AA with every toggle switched off — the accessibility is in the site's own code: real headings, real labels, alt text written by a person, keyboard navigation that works out of the box.

The toolbar is a comfort layer on top of that — the same way you might enlarge the text on your phone. It personalizes a site that already works; it doesn't patch one that doesn't. That difference matters more than it might sound, and we wrote a whole essay about it — read why overlay widgets don't work.

The toolbar now works across every page of every Remi site, including dark and high-contrast modes on our own marketing pages — we hold ourselves to the same bar we set for your site.
