Your website should live at your own address. Getting it there is now a two-step handoff instead of a leap of faith.

How it works

  1. You: in your dashboard's Settings tab, save your domain and add two records at your registrar — an A record for the bare domain, a CNAME for www. The tab shows both, exactly as your registrar expects them.
  2. Us: Remi attaches your domain to our hosting, the SSL certificate issues automatically, and every page of your site — menu, hours, ordering, reservations — serves at your address. Old links from your previous site keep working: the redirect map from your migration answers on your domain too.

We watch the connection from our side — whether your DNS has landed, whether the certificate is issued, whether the domain is serving — and confirm with you when it's live. No guessing at propagation, no "did it work?"

Why this matters beyond convenience

Until your own domain is connected, your Remi site is a private preview and stays out of search on purpose — search engines should meet your restaurant at your address, with your name on it, not ours. Connecting the domain is the moment your site starts building search history for you. That's also why we treat it as part of the go-live review, not a self-serve switch: it's checked by a person, like everything else that goes public.
